IMU Deaf Awareness Week 2023

Through MyBIM, Dr Anthony Chong was invited to be on a panel with other 2 Deaf persons, Mr Sazali Shaari and Mr Kelvin Suy on Deaf experience in mainstream society. The event was hybrid. The physical event was conducted in the afternoon at the IMU premise, and this sharing happened on a zoom meeting on the same day, i.e. 23 February 2023. 

Medical Basics to Malaysian Sign Language

This workshop was held by Taylor's University Medical Society. This workshop was held physically in the university on 11 February 2023. Through collaboration with NowBIM, Mr Kevin Mak, Ms Annie Ong and Ms Minori Loo were the speakers for the workshop. They were invited to provide awareness and knowledge about the Deaf community and BIM to university students. It was reported that approximately 40 university students attended this workshop.
